BALANGA CITY, Bataan: A motorcycle rider died while his brother was injured when their motorcycles crashed into a big tree that fell at the height of heavy rains at dawn on Friday along the dark Roman Superhighway in Limay, Bataan. Rescuers of Metro Bataan Development Authority rushed brothers Roben, 22, and Robert Bagasan, 20, to the Bataan General Hospital but Roben died a few minutes later. Marie Bagasan said her two sons left their house in Puerto Rivas Draga in Balanga City on two motorcycles at about 4 a.m. to report for work as security guards at the Bataan Oil Refinery in Limay. Witness Divina Javier, said the big narra tree fell along the four-lane highway in Barangay Duale a few minutes before the two motorcycles rammed into it. She said the victims were wearing helmets but because of heavy rains they might not have noticed the warning.
