CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga: At least seven towns in Pampanga will experience a 10-hour power interruption on Wednesday, December 9.
An advisory issued by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), the 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. power interruption will affect areas being serviced by Pampanga II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (PELCO II) and San Fernando Electric Light and Power Company (SFELAPCO-Flordiblanca).
Ernest Vidal, NGCP Central Luzon Corporate Communications and Public Affairs officer, said towns to be affected are Sta Rita, Bacolor, Sasmuan, Porac, Lubao, Guagua and Floridablanca.
”This is to facilitate rerouting of three poles in Barangay Siram, Lubao, Pampanga, reinforcement of loop conductors, and installation of post insulator along Hermosa-Guagua-Basa 69kVline,” Vidal said.
Vidal asked consumers and the general public to take necessary preparations and precautions for the scheduled power interruption.
