10-hour power outage to hit Cagayan, Apayao areas

SOME areas in Cagayan and Apayao provinces will experience a 10-hour power outage on Wednesday due to scheduled maintenance of facilities.

The National Grid Corp. of the Phils. (NGCP) on Monday said areas covered by the Cagayan II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Cagelco II) such as Lallo, Gattaran, Aparri, Lasam, Allacapan, Camalaniugan, Buguey, Sta. Teresita, Gonzaga, Sta. Ana, Abulug, Pamplona, Balles–teros, Sanchez Mira, Claveria, Sto. Nino and Sta. Praxedes in Cagayan, and Pudtol, Luna, Flora, Sta. Marcela and Calanasan in Apayao will be affected due to the replacement of selected wood poles, installation of detached overhead ground wire and correction of conductor clearance along Alcala-Magapit- 69kV line segment.
