Parts of Isabela and Ifugao will experience a 10-hour power outage on Friday.
According to the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP), the power interruption will start from 7 a.m. and last until 5 p.m.
Towns affected are the service areas of the Isabela and Ifugao Electric Cooperatives.
Among those affected are the towns of Echague, Jones, San Agus-tin, San Guillermo, Alicia, Anga-danan, Luna, Cabatuan, San Mateo and parts of Cauayan City in Isabela.
The towns of Aguinaldo and Alfonso Lista in Ifugao are also covered by the advisory.
Meanwhile, the NGCP said that it is prepared for Tropical Depression Queenie.
According to the NGCP, it has implemented the necessary preparations and precautions to minimize the impact of Queenie on transmission operations and facilities.
Preparations included ensuring the reliability of communications equipment and availability of hardware materials and supplies necessary for the repair of damages to facilities as well as the positioning of line crews in strategic areas, to facilitate immediate restoration work.
NGCP’s Overall Disaster Command Center has been activated to monitor the status of transmission facilities as well as coordinate power restoration activities, reports, and updates from its Regional Command Centers in North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
