Casualty toll from the magnitude 7.2 Earthquake that shook Central Visayas on Tuesday morning continues to rise as more search and rescue teams rushed in quake ravage areas, police reports said on Wednesday.

Reports at the Philippine National Police national operations center in Camp Crame placed the number of casualties from the earthquake to 438 with 107 persons confirmed dead and 231 others injured.
