12-yr old boy busted in QC drug sting


ANTI-DRUG authorities seized some 20 kilos of ‘shabu’ worth at least P100 million and arrested seven suspects including a 12-year old boy during a buy bust operation on early dawn Saturday in a suburban village in Quezon City. National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) Chief, Director Joel Pagdilao said that the drug sting operation at the corner of Timog Ave, Barangay South Triangle was conducted by the NCRPO’s Regional Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (RAIDSOTG) led by Chief Insp. Roberto Razon. Arrested were Ruel Balacuit, Fe Balacuit, James Lumpong, Samia Sultan, Akmad Bato, Rhoniel Balacuit and a 12-year old boy whose name were withheld. Recovered from the suspects aside from the 20 kilos of ‘shabu’ were a gray colored Toyota Vios sedan and a green colored Lancer. The suspects will be charged with violation of Section 5 of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
