• 14 Suspects nabbed in San Juan City


    FOURTEEN people, including the most wanted person in the city and three women, were arrested, police reported to San Juan City (Metro Manila) Mayor Guia Gomez over the weekend. The city’s most wanted – Jefferson Toshimitsu – was nabbed during a buy-bust in Barangay Pasadena when he handed over a plastic sachet of shabu to undercover policemen. Another target – John Inri Barros – fell in a buy-bust in Barangay San Perfecto. Arrested for qualified theft were Necita Ramos, Girlie Arcillas and Angelica Escalante. The others arrested for cases of robbery, possession of shabu, and homicide were: Nikki Mondejar, Alberto Arcillas, Praxedel Abalorio, Edmund Mallinlin, Eduardo Butizon, Richard Olivares, Rethley Kadusale, Freddie Patungan, and Paquito Bayani. Gomez lauded city police for the unrelenting efforts against criminal elements under its “San Juan Kontra Droga Program.”
