• 1,532 DENGUE CASES RECORDED IN PALAWAN

    PUERTO PRINCESA CITY: The Provincial Health Office (PHO) reported on Monday that it has managed to control dengue disease in Palawan province despite the latest record of 1,532 cases as of July 2013. In an interview with Dr. Ed Cruz, head of the PHO, he said that dengue cases in the municipalities of Roxas, Taytay and El Nido are now going down. Cruz said Taytay town still leads with the most number of 474 cases followed by Roxas with 285, El Nido with 266 and Brooke’s Point in southern Palawan with 120 cases. Death from dengue remains at six.
