CAMP SIONGCO, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao: The air strikes launched by the military's Joint Task Force Central (JTFC) killed 15 members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) and an Army soldier, and wounded eight other bandits at the Liguasan Marsh area in Maguindanao.
Capt. Arvin Encinas, spokesman of the 6th Infantry Division (6th ID) told The Manila Times that the bandits traded fire with troops from the 33rd Infantry Battalion (33IB) but were outmaneuvered in about an hour of firefight on Sunday.
