ABOUT 16,000 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) availed of amnesty at the end of the 90-day program of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for undocumented and stranded foreign nationals.

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello 3rd said over the weekend that figures from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) showed that of the 15,389 OFWs who took advantage of the amnesty, 10,011 have been repatriated to the Philippines.
