A weak northeast monsoon is bringing isolated light rains to extreme Northern Luzon region Saturday.
Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the islands of Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan will experience partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
PAGASA forecasts Metro Manila and the rest of the country to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
It had not issued any gale warning in the country. Thus, fisherfolk and those with small boats can head out to sea.
However, it said moderate to strong winds coming from the northeast will prevail over the Visayas and Eastern Mindanao, adding coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The state-run weather bureau warned winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the Northeast to East, affecting seas to be slight to moderate. PNA
