At least 177 domestic flights of Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) were grounded on Saturday because of Typhoon Ruby.
PAL cancelled 41 flights to typhoon-affected destinations. It said additional cancellations for December 8 and 9 will be announced later as the airline “determines the exact path to be taken by the typhoon.”
Cebu Pacific Air cancelled 96 flights. It said affected passengers can avail of free booking for travel within 30 days from the original date or full refund.
PAL Express cancelled 28 flights while Tiger Air cancelled 12.
