As of 6 a.m. Saturday, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) announced that 1,796 of seagoing passengers in Southern Tagalog and the Visayas have been stranded by inclement weather caused by Tropical Storm "Mario".
This can be broken down into 573 for Cebu; 515 for Batangas; 312 for Albay; 203 for Tagbilaran; 78 for Sorsogon; 70 for Romblon; and 45 for Lucena.
