ORMOC City: Two known drug personalities were gunned down in separate incidents here on Monday. The first shooting occurred along the national highway in Sitio Catambisan, San Isidro village about 4:50 in the afternoon causing heavy traffic in the area. The victim was identified as Asgar Limbona, who was listed as the Top 3 in the Drug Watch list of Police Station 3 based in Linao Village. Limbona was reportedly one of the trusted men of slain Top 1 drug pusher Monasimban Limbona. The second shooting incident occurred in a dimly lit road along Sitio Dama de Noche in Cogon Village about 10:15 in the evening. The victim was identified as Wilfredo “Weng-weng” Rosal, who was among the first to heed the surrender call of the PNP’s Oplan Double Barrel program last week. Rosal’s elder sister, Baby Rosal Segovia told Manila Times that she knew he was involved in drugs but was wondering why he was shot dead when he already signed the Affidavit of Undertaking and Affidavit of Surrender to City Mayor Richard Gomez. The local police are still conducting a thorough investigation on the two killings.
