2 escape Bulacan jail

TWO prisoners escaped from San Rafael Municipal Jail in Bulacan on Wednesday by cutting the grills of the cell’s comfort room using an improvised saw. OIC provincial director Senior Supt. Timoteo Pacleb identified the escapees as Paul Michael Rivera, facing dangerous drug case and Jerome Mendoza, accused of Republic Act 6539 (for motorcycle theft). San Rafael Police chief Supt. Orlando Castil said the jailbreak was discovered during the prisoners’ headcount. Mayor Cipriano Violago offered cash reward for information that would lead to the arrest of the fugitives.
