Two alleged minors transporting sacks of marijuana were nabbed during an interdiction operation conducted by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) with local authorities in La Union on last week.

Combined elements of PDEA Regional Office 1 (PDEA RO1) and the Santol Police Station intercepted the two minors in the act of transporting four sacks containing 26 bricks of marijuana fruiting tops and 10 bundles of dried marijuana stalks weighing a total of 52 kilograms in Sitio Tibak, Barangay Sasaba, Santol, La Union. The illegal hemp has an estimated value of P1.3 million.
