Two moderate earthquakes shook various parts of Luzon and Visayas on Tuesday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the first quake with a magnitude of 3.2 occurred at 5:29 a.m. and its epicenter was traced 10 kilometers southeast of Argao town in Cebu with a shallow depth of one kilometer.
The agency said there was no reported intensity.
The second tremor with a magnitude of 3.6 occurred at about 5:37 a.m. Its epicenter was traced 31 kilometers southwest of Nasugbu town in Batangas at a depth of 101 kilometers.
Phivolcs said the quake was felt at Intensity 2 in Tagaytay City; Indang, Cavite; and Malabon City while Intensity 1 was recorded in Quezon City.
Phivolcs said there was no report of damage from these tremors which were all tectonic in origin. No aftershocks are expected. PNA
