Two moderate earthquakes jolted parts of Mindanao on Friday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the first quake with a magnitude of 4.1 jolted Davao Occidental which occurred at 5:36 a.m.
Its epicenter was traced 69 kilometers southeast of Sarangani.
It added the quake had a depth of 76 kilometers.
Meanwhile, at 6:18 a.m., a magnitude 3.3 tremor struck Davao Oriental.
Its epicenter was estimated 69 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso.
Its depth was estimated at nine kilometers.
Phivolcs did not report any intensity felt from the two quake which were both tectonic in origin.
The agency further noted that no damage was reported from both tremors and aftershocks were not expected as well. PNA
