• 2 more drug suspects fall in Nueva Ecija


    CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija: A listed drug suspect and a 19-year-old student were the latest victims of drug-related killings in Nueva Ecija. On Monday, Jerry Antonio, a student at Floriano Bao-Sadian Technical Vocational School in Barangay Del Pilar, Zaragoza town, was felled by bullets from 9-milimeter caliber pistol fired by a lone gunman. He and his two classmates were having snacks outside the campus when the gunman arrived and shot him. The assailant escaped in a motorcycle. In Bongabon town, Alberto Constantino, 46, of Barangay Santor, and tagged as No. 7 on the police drug watch list, was also killed by an unidentified suspect. Meanwhile, Nueva Ecija Gov. Cherry Umali said they will create an anti-illegal drug task force under the Provincial Peace and Order Council to curb drug-related crimes in the province.
