After two months of fuel price increases, two oil companies on Friday announced that they will cut pump prices.
In an advisory Friday noontime, Pilipinas Shell and Petron Philippines said they will roll back prices of gasoline by as much as P1.70 per liter and diesel by 25 centavos per liter.
Other oil firms have not announced price adjustments as of this posting, but they are expected to roll back their own prices very soon.
Hours after President Benigno Aquino 3rd delivered his fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, oil firms raised pump prices.
