    CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Two Cagayan de Oro City legislators filed a bill urging the national government to reorganize and modernize what they described as the “antiquated” National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). Rep. Rufus Rodriguez of Second District and younger brother Rep. Maximo Rodriguez of Abante Mindanao party-list, filed House Bill 3284, or the “National Bureau of Investigation Reorganization and Modernization Act of 2013.” In their explanatory note, the two lawmakers said the NBI, which was established in 1947, has been left behind in terms of technology and investigative procedures.
