ZAMBOANGA CITY: Security forces captured two suspected Abu Sayyaf militants during an operation in Basilan province in the Muslim autonomous region in southern Philippines, the military said Saturday.

It said policemen and soldiers tracked down Mudzri Adjalan and a certain Yasir in their hideout in the village of Sungkayot, in Ungkaya Pukan town, on Friday and eventually captured them.
