• 2013 Manila Bay Clean-up Run rolls off

Over 4,500 runners committed to cleaning the country’s waterways and coastal resources will see action in this year’s Manila Bay Clean-Up Run that fires off on Sunday, July 14. The marathon’s starting point is across the Aliw Theater at the CCP Complex in Pasay City at 4:30 a.m. The competition offers a 21-kilometer, 10km, 5km and 3 km categories.

The event marks the 74th anniversary of radio station DZRH, the flagship station of Manila Broadcasting Company that organized the race with establishments helping Land Bank’s program to restore Manila Bay.

Resorts World Manila, which is supporting the project, will set up a booth offering free membership to the public. A post-marathon mini concert featuring Luke Mejares and Pretty Young Thing awaits the participants.
