Three-time Ironman world champion Craig Alexander, and veterans Luke Mackenzie and Caroline Steffen will banner the list of participants in the 2015 edition of the Ironman 70.3 Triathlon scheduled on March 5 to 8 in Subic.
The annual run-swim-bike competition will be staged by long-time benefactor Century Tuna that will also bring professional triathletes from all over the world and slowly building a reputation as a hot triathlon destination in Asia.
“Century Tuna has supported the triathlon and fitness community in the Philippines for years now as away of remaining committed to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for Filipinos,” said General Manager of Century Pacific Food Inc. Greg Banzon during event’s press launching at the New World Hotel in Makati City.
The course includes a 1.9 kilometer swim, which will start and end at Sands of Triboa via SUBIC Bay Airport to Transition 1. The 90-kilometer bike ride will begin on the runaway heading to Argonaut Highway, Rizal Highway, Subic-Tipo Expressway all the way to Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway.
