The 2015 Manila Bay Seasports Festival, presented by Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) and the City of Manila in cooperation with the Philippine Coast Guard is now calling for participants.
Slated on March 14 and 15 at the Baywalk area along Roxas Boulevard, the festival, aiming to determine the country’s master-bangkero, is expected to draw entries from top clubs and university teams from all over the Philippines. Motorboat racers from Batangas, Cavite, La Union, Pangasinan, Mindoro, Iloilo and Aklan are joining the tilt. Also expected to participate are Olympic rowers, Southeast Asian Games medalists and members of the Philippine national team.
Races in the Men’s Open, Women’s Open and Mixed Open 500-meter dragon boat will begin at 8 a.m.
