21 GIRLS SAVED FROM PROSTITUTION IN ANGELES CITY

AT least 21 women, mostly minors, that were forced to become sex workers were rescued recently by the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Angeles City, a senior police official said Thursday. PNP Public Information officer, Chief Supt. Reuben Theodore Sindac said the women were rescued after combined police operatives swooped down on two restaurant-bars in a suburban village in Angeles City. The PNP official said the girls, including five minors and six suspected minors, were rescued from the Lovely Paradise Resto-Bar and Aby Lyn Wine bar both on Raymond Street, Barangay Balibago of the said city.
