The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has found 23 illegally installed pipelines in Boracay, and suspects there may be 21 more.

“I think there were 23 pipelines that were discovered] and [there could be] 21 [more] based on [findings of] the ground penetrating radar,” Crisanta Marlene Rodriguez, DENR-Biodiversity Management Bureau officer-in-charge, said at the sidelines of the launch of #CleanSeasPilipinas campaign at The Orchidarium, Rizal Park (Luneta) in Manila over the weekend.
