290 flights at NAIA cancelled


Some 290 international and domestic flights were canceled on Monday as Typhoon Ruby sliced across the Southern Tagalog region and Metro Manila.

An advisory from the Manila International Airport Authority said 23 international flights of Air Asia Zest, Jet Star and Air China were scrapped.

Meanwhile, 252 domestic flights of AirPhil Express, AirAsia Zest, Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines were canceled.
