This February, five international jazz artists from the Philippines and Europe will delight Manila at the 2015 Euro-Pinoy Jazz Concerts. Their sonic syntheses will be performed in two concerts that will take place on February 20, 9 p.m. at Tiendesitas, Ortigas Avenue; and on February 21 at the historic Fort Santiago in Intramuros, Manila. Admission is free on a first come, first served basis.

The musicians’ six-day collaboration started with a three-day workshop on February 17 where distinguished musicians are currently harmonizing their unique brands of artistry to compose an original jazz repertoire. Each artist brings his own creative expressions of jazz music to the table in this exercise, with the aim of creating a fresh and distinctive identity, and fostering cultural cooperation.
