Three children were wounded in a grenade attack on Wednesday in Zamboanga City, said Police Insp. Dahlan Samuddin, a regional police spokesman. The children were injured in the blast just outside the house of Barangay Chairman Diosterides Librado, who may be the target of the attack. “We are still investigating the attack. This could be political,” he told The Manila Times. The victims suffered minor injuries while Librado was unscathed from the blast. This was the second attempt on his life. A grenade was also lobbed in his house in November 2013 wherein he was severely wounded that both his legs were amputated.
