THREE suspected drug pushers were killed while four others were arrested during a buy-bust operation in San Mateo, Rizal province on Monday evening.

Killed were Joel Parungao and Roel Avila, both of Barangay Banaba; and Letlet Belmonte of Geneville Subd., all in San Mateo.

Parungao is considered the top 10 most wanted drug personality in the town.

Those arrested were identified as Jeff Bañes, Raymart Alagos, Art Oberio and Michael Tazan.

San Mateo police chief Supt. Ruben Piquero said the three suspects engaged the operatives in a gunfight as they tried to evade arrest.
