Three men, two of them alleged drug suspects, were killed on Monday in separate shooting incidents perpetuated by armed men riding in motorcycles in the cities of Pasay and Parañaque (Metro Manila). Supt. Jenny Tecson, Southern Police District information officer, identified the slain suspects as Rogelio Ebrada and Crisentio Nepomuceno. She said the unknown assailants shot the victims at about 11 p.m. on Monday in Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City. Village officials confirmed that the two were known drug pushers in the area. Paranaque police have conducted 109 anti-drug operations that killed nine suspects who engaged lawmen in shootouts. At least 183 people were arrested and 2,503 have surrendered. In Pasay City, Romeo Joel Torres was shot at close range by an unidentified assailant at about 11 p.m. Police are investigating the motives for the killings.
