THREE persons who police believe to be drug dealers were killed in an ambush Friday night in Dagupan City.
Reports reaching the Philippine National Police operations center in Camp Crame on Saturday identified the three as Napoleon Paraan, 45, of Mangaldan town; and Reynaldo Martinez, 47, and Mamerto Penuliar Jr., 49, both of Sta. Barbara town.
They were riding a tricycle driven by Paraan when they were fired upon by still unidentified gunmen at around 9 p.m. Friday at Sitio Silungan, Barangay Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan.
The reports said that responding policemen found several plastic sachets containing powder suspected to be shabu on the victims.
