3 minors rescued, 3 human trafficking suspects nabbed

Agents of the National Bureau of Investigation rescued three minors and arrested three suspected pimps operating in Caloocan City. Operatives of the NBI Anti-Human Trafficking Division identified the suspects as Yolanda Villagomez, Richard Manahan, and John Paul dela Peña who were charged before the Department of Justice for violation of Anti-Trafficking in Persons (Republic Act 9208 as amended by RA 10364), and RA 7610 or Special Protection Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act. The victims, in separate sworn statements dated August 12, 2015, admitted that they are sex workers and that Manahan and Dela Peña were offering them to pimps. The NBI is now investigating a certain “Ka Lando” who allegedly used to request 13-year-old sex workers from Villagomez.

  1. VILLAGOMEZ, MANAHAN and DELA PENA: all of you are cowards who prey on the innocent. leave the children alone!

what’s more despicable is that there is a ‘market’ for this heinous behavior. if the pimps are COWARDS, their customers are SCUM of the earth.
