Three mild earthquakes struck four provinces in Luzon and Visayas, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the first quake with a magnitude of 3.0 occurred at 7:01 a.m.
The epicenter of the quake was traced some nine kilometers southwest of Nueva Valencia in Guimaras.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of 33 kilometers.
The second quake with a magnitude 3.8 occurred around 9:52 a.m. with epicenter traced some 94 kilometers northeast of Basco in Batanes.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of one kilometer.
On the other hand, the other tremor with a magnitude of 3.8 happened at 2:58 p.m.
Phivolcs said its epicenter was estimated 28 kilometers northeast of Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

The agency described an Intensity 2 as slightly felt by individuals at rest indoors were hanging objects swing slightly and still Water in containers oscillates noticeably.
Phivolcs said the temblor, which was tectonic in origin, had a shallow depth of 13 kilometers.
Phivolcs said there was no casualty or damage reported from the three tremors.
It added that no aftershocks were also expected from it.
