Three moderate earthquakes shook various provinces of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao on Thursday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the first quake with a magnitude of 3.5 occurred at 1:49 a.m. Its epicenter was traced 39 kilometers northeast of Sarangani town in Davao Oriental with a shallow depth of 64 kilometers.
