It will be a cloudy and rainy Wednesday in most parts of the country due to three weather systems.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the northeast monsoon (amihan) would bring rain over Northern Luzon; the tail-end of a cold front would bring showers over Southern and Central Luzon; and the trough of an LPA would affect Mindanao.
In its Wednesday forecast, PAGASA said Metro Manila, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Mindanao and Rizal, Aurora and Quezon provinces will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms while Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Ilocos and the rest of Central Luzon regions will have cloudy skies with light rains.
The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.
The state weather bureau also issued gale warning with the effects of northeast monsoon. A strong to gale force winds will cause rough to very rough sea conditions over the seaboards of Central and Northern Luzon.
“Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves,” it warned. PNA
