AT least three people, including an 11 year old boy, were reported injured following an explosion Thursday night in a suburban village in Zamboanga City, police said on Friday.
Reports reaching the national police headquarets in Camp Crame (Quezon City) said the explosion took place at 11:10 pm at the gate of YL Fishing Corp., on Logoy Diutay Street in Barangay Talon-Talon. No one was killed but three people were wounded according to Chief Inspector Joel Tuttuh, spokesperson of the Zamboanga City Police Office.
Police recovered pieces believed to be from an improvised explosive at the crime scene.
Jimmy Yap, owner of the YL Fishing Corp., said he suspects a rift among his workers could have links to the incident.
