The University of the East Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Knights Alumni Inc. (UEKI) will hold its 3rd UEKI National Commander’s Cup on August 15 at the Philippine Navy Golf Course in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The golf for a cause tournament aims to foster camaraderie and promote physical fitness among its members and associates. It also aims to support the yearly activities of the association and the programs of the current UE ROTC cadets.
The tournament has two categories including the UE Knights (for members only) and regular amateur division. Golfers entry fee is at P2,500 inclusive of meals, green fee and caddie fee.
Registration opens at 6 a.m. while the tee off time is from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Format of the tournament is a Blind Callaway mode of play.
Winners of each class will receive a trophy while golf apparels and equipment are at stake in the raffle draw.
The tournament is under the leadership of Col. Aguinaldo Ordoñez together with the UEKI officers and board of directors.
