CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet: The aggressive campaign of combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents against illegal drugs resulted in the arrest of four and seizure of four sacks of dried marijuana leaves in Kalinga on Tuesday. Senior Supt. John Colinio, Acting Provincial Director of Kalinga, identified the drug couriers as Mendos Lagui-ao Macad, 29, Ostilli Paclay Alunday, 29; Pedro Macaiba Baggas, 23; and Gregorio Paclay Sabawil, 34, all farmers and residents of Agbanawag, Tabuk City, Kalinga. “We are thankful to our concerned citizens who, as usual, provided vital information,” Colinio stressed. Acting on a tipped information that a tricycle loaded with marijuana bricks from Tinglayan in Upper Kalinga was heading to Bulanao, Tabuk City, the combined elements of the Tabuk City Police Station, Kalinga Provincial Public Safety Company, Provincial Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operations Task Group and the Regional Intelligence Unit stationed a checkpoint along Bantay, Tabuk City on Monday.
