Filipino mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Eduard “Landslide” Foloyang is out to prove he still got his deadly form when he takes on Australian Adrian “The Hunter” Pang in ONE: Heroes of the World today at the Cotai Arena in Macau.

“I want to prove that I’m still a contender. We are both great strikers, it will depend on who will be able to execute their game plan well,” said the 31-year old Foloyang in an interview with The Manila Times.

The Team Lakay standout and Baguio native predicts an explosive clash of two strikers.

“Everyone will be excited to see this match because knowing that Adrian is able to knock his opponent out. And I know how to avoid the strong punches and I know how to use my unpredictability against him. I believe it will be a good match up for both of us,” Foloyang added.

Foloyang’s win-loss record improved to 15-5 after scoring a unanimous decision win against Tetsuya Yamada of Japan in the previous edition of ONE.

On the other hand, Pang pulled off a first round victory over Peter Davis of Malaysia in October 2015, improving his professional MMA record to 22-8-2.

Foloyang’s compatriots Honorio “The Rock” Banario, Joshua Pacio and Jimmy Yabo will also be seeing action in the tourney.

Banario, a former ONE featherweight champion, will face Eddi Ng of Hong Kong while Pacio will fight Thai national wrestling champion Kritsada “Dream Man” Kongsrichai.

Yabo will pit his skills against Chinese Ma Jia Wen.

Former ONE flyweight world champion Adriano Moraes will face last minute replacement Tilek Batyrov of Kyrgyzstan in the main event.

Batyrov is replacing elite wrestler Andrew Leone who suffered injury during training.

“Hard work pays off. I have been through many difficult things in my life. But with my family and team supporting me, I feel I can overcome anything. I have been working very hard at improving my skills inside the cage. Right now, I feel unstoppable. I’m at the top of my game,” said Moraes in a statement.

Batyrov, meanwhile, announced his readiness to face the former champion.

“I have been competing all my life and I am excited now that I am at this point in my career where I can really show everyone what I am capable of. I know Adriano is a tough opponent, but I will have my hand raised in victory on fight night,” Batyrov said.
