4 ‘pushers’ killed, 9 NABBed in Bulacan


Four more drug pushers were killed while nine others were arrested in separate buy-busts conducted by Bulacan Police in Plaridel town and Meycauayan City since Thursday. Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., Bulacan acting provincial director, identified the slain suspects as Ferddie Roxas, alias “Tayao” of Barangay Rueda in Plaridel; Marvin Balingit of Barangay Barihan, Malolos City; one alias “Paolo;” and Elmer de la Cruz of Barangay Balatong in Pulilan, all in Bulacan province. The nine arrested suspects were Lauro San Gabriel, 50, and Benjie Millapis, 31, native of Surigao del Norte and both of Barangay Bancal, Meycauayan City; Joy Lopez, 26, of Barangay Constantino, Marilao; and Bernardo Anuat, 40, pedicab driver of Little Pampanga Street in Balangkas, Valenzuela City; Mark Joseph Domingo of Santolan, Malabon City; Joebert Torres, 24, of Sili Street, Barangay Lawa, Meycauayan City; Redentor Gonzales, 27, laborer; Reynaldo Evangelista, 21; and John Ryan Morelos, 27 pedicab driver all of Isla, Valenzuela City (Metro Manila). Supt. Lailene Amparo of Meycauayan police said the suspects were arrested during an operation conducted by anti-illegal drugs operatives and Mobile Patrol Group of Meycauayan police in Barangay Bancal, Meycauayan City at past midnight on Friday.
