ZAMBOANGA CITY: Four people were wounded in separate explosions on Tuesday in Basilan and in Isulan town, Sultan Kudarat province, officials said. In a report, the officials said a fragmentation grenade exploded at a market in Isulan after an unidentified man hurled a grenade at another that he had an argument with. The grenade thrower managed to escape following the blast while the three wounded persons were rushed to the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Hospital. Another explosion occurred in Sumisip town, Basilan after a bomb was detonated by a rubber plantation farmer. The blast was believed to have originated from a landmine that was reportedly left by rebels.
