5 dead in Bulacan drug-related murder


BALIWAG, BULACAN: Five people, including a woman and a 16- year-old minor, were brutally killed and found dead with gun shot wounds inside a rented apartment on Saturday evening in Barangay Sabang of this town.

Bulacan Police provincial director Senior Supt. Ferdinand Divina identified the victims as Axel Jhon Batac, 21; Angel Romero, 20; Alvin Cruz, 42; Benlee Manoloto and 16-year-old Mark Christian Borgonia, 16.

The victims’ bodies were found around 8 p.m. at the second floor of the rented apartment owned by Mary Chris Borgonia on Garnet St., in Barangay Sabang with multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigation showed that Baliwag police received a phone call from a concern citizen regarding several gun shots heard from the said apartment about 7 to 7:45 p.m., prompting Senior Insp. Diosdado Leal, Baliwag Police deputy chief of police, to respond to the area.

Authorities found the bodies of live in partners Batac and Romero, together with the two victims on the bed while the minor, son of the owner of the apartment, laid beside it.

Divina said Batac, Cruz and Manoloto are in the Drug Watch List of Bulacan Police.

Recovered from the crime scene were 10 empty shells from Caliber .45 pistol and several drug paraphernalia.
