A five-hectare farmland yielding high value crops in a far-flung village in Pamplona town, Negros Oriental was reportedly burned down by unidentified men. Negros Oriental Police Chief, Senior Supt. Harris Fama, in a report said that owner Tomas Enico Rocha said his farmland in Barangay Fatima, planted to coconut, coffee and banana, was burned. Fama directed Senior Insp. Antonio Jabar, acting chief of police of Pamplona town, to conduct an investigation on the burning incident.
