Five people were killed by motorcycle-riding gunmen on the bridge connecting the cities of Pasay and Makati early Wednesday.
Southern Police District (SPD) Director Chief Supt. Jet Villacorte identified the fatalities as Chuckie Dy Cruz, 22; Francisco Cruz, 20; Raymart Saraza, 20; Andrew Lloyd Cruz, 23; and Rogelio Diala, 23, all residents of Magtibay Street in Pasay.
Villacorte said the five, who had come from a drinking spree, were fired at by three men as they were crossing the Arnaiz Cementina Dolores Bridge at around 2:36 a.m.
He said the suspects, who were on two motorcycles and who wore full helmets, sped off towards Arnaiz Avenue in Pasay after the shooting.
Police said the victims were related to each other.
