FIVE armed suspects were killed while six were arrested, as firearms, ammunitions, numerous illegal drugs were seized in police operations conducted by Bulacan and Quezon police on Thursday and Friday.
In Bulacan, reports said one was neutralized in Malolos City, two in Meycauayan City, and one in San Rafael.
Bulacan acting police director, Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., the slain suspects were identified only as alias “Randy”, alias “Tuklaw” and alias “Nine” while the other one remain unidentified.
The arrested were brothers Jay-ar Atingan and brother John Carlo; Jesus Castaneda and Ely Llacer, of Barangay Perez, Meycauayan City; Mary Jane Dupalco; Christian Genetia, both of Barangay Bignay, Valenzuela City (Metro Manila).
Malolos City chief of police, Supt. Arwin Tadeo, said the City Anti-Illegal Drugs (CAID) operatives of Malolos conducted a buy-bust operation in Menzyland Subdivision, Barangay Mojon on Thursday evening that resulted to the death of @ Randy, while his unidentified companion escaped.
Meycauayan police officer-in-charge, Supt. Lailene Amparo, lias Tuklaw and alias Nine, engaged the operatives to a gun battle in Meycauayan on Friday.
Supt. Orlando Castil Jr., San Rafael Police officer-in-charge, said an unidentified armed drug runner killed when he ran past a checkpoint in Barangay Caingin on Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, a big time drug pusher was slain in Lucena City on Friday when the suspect allegedly resisted arrest and fired at the police.
Lucena police chief, Supt. Dennis de Leon, said Glen de Alday, alias “Bong Tisoy,” fired at the police operatives serving a warrant of arrest at his safe house inPleasantville Subd., in Barangay Ilayang Iyam.
Police said Alday was a big time supplier of shabu in the towns of Tiaong, Dolores, San Antonio, Candelaria, Sariaya and Lucena.
