More than 500 companies are expected to join Philconstruct 2013, the annual expo which started in 1991 and has expanded its reach globally.
For this year’s expo scheduled from November 6 to 9, Philconstruct will be hosted at the SMX Convention Center at the Mall of Asia Complex, and the World Trade Center Metro Manila, both located in Pasay City. This means that from a space of 25,000 square meters last year, Philconstruct will add 20,000 square meters of exhibition space this year.
“We want to give equal opportunity to industry suppliers. Philconstruct is about promoting business growth and now we have a lot of companies knocking on our door, wanting to be part of the show and capitalize on the construction boom. We saw this during the last event and decided to formally announce this expansion to two mega venues,” said Lito Madrasto, Philippine Constructors Association Inc. (PCA) executive director.
The SMX will house exhibits for building materials, interior and exterior products, decors, furniture and technologies, while the World Trade Center will be transformed to showcase latest in construction equipment, technology and services.
Yearly, more than 50,000 trade visitors flock to the exhibit, where suppliers from countries like Australia, China, Italy, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Unite States, the United Kingdom, among others, launch their products and technologies in the Philippine market.
“PCA has always been at the forefront of staging events that offer absolutely everything industry players need to boost their businesses,” added Tito Manalo, president of the Philconstruct Events, Exhibitions Conference Corp. and PCA.
This year’s Philconstruct will also incorporate HVAC/R Philippines (heating and air-conditioning expo), Mining Asia and Interior World. E-mail email@example.com for more information.
