Valenzuela City Mayor Rexlon Gatchalian has sacked 59 employees who tested positive for illegal drug use.
Gatchalian ordered all city government employees to undergo a drug test, including the vice mayor and councilors in line with the intensified campaign of the Duterte Administration against the use of illegal drugs.
