FIVE persons linked to illegal drugs were killed by unknown assailants in the cities of Taguig, Parañaque, Makati and San Juan.
Superintendent Jenny Tecson, spokesperson of the Southern Police District (SPD), said the bodies of Modriae Kamid and Dipatuan Sayutin were found at 2:45 a.m. on Monday on Tanyag Street, Barangay South Signal Village in Taguig.
The police said the two were known drug users and pushers in the area and were included in the city’s drug watchlist.
In a separate report, Parañaque police Chief Senior Supt. Jose Carumba said two others were killed in a shooting incident at Barangay San Martin De Porres at 1:45 a.m. also on Monday.
Victims Joshua Tan, 22, and Jay Gelizon, 31, were playing billiards on Santo Niño Street when they were attacked by the gunmen on motorbikes.
Investigators found a sachet of shabu in the crime scene.
Makati police Chief Senior Supt. Rommil Mitra reported that Efren Neri was shot dead also by motorcycle-riding men in front of a bakery on Lapu-Lapu Street in Barangay West Rembo at around 9 p.m. on Sunday.
The suspects left a sign that read “Drug pusher ako, huwag tularan [I am a drug pusher, do not emulate me].”
Meanwhile, 10 other drug suspects were arrested in a series of police operations in Las Piñas, Taguig and Parañaque on Sunday night.
They yielded several sachets of shabu, police said.
In San Juan City, police found the body of an unidentified man along G. Soriano Street, Barangay Kabayanan Sunday night.
A cardboard with the words “Wag akong tuluran, user at pusher ako (do not emulate me, I am a drug user and pusher),” was found at the site.
Police said the victim had “BART” tattooed on his lower back and “Intoy Bahala Na Gang Tampalasan” on his right buttocks.
